When we received Christ as our saviour, at some point of our life, we are so conscious of our sins, even in the thoughts, that we were filled with so much guilt and condemnation. In the end, we keeps feeling very dirty. It affects us in our daily life. Even when we walked, we shake. Day and night we do not have the peace and joy that we should enjoy because are afraid that God will punish us. Slowly, we drift away from God.
Let's look 1 John1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all or every sin. Notice this verse never never says if we walk according to light, but rather in the light. Since Christ lives in us and he is our light, we are walking in his light. Therefore, the blood of Jesus keeps cleansing and purifying us from all our sins. We are as white as paper. As pure as plain water. Perfect in God eyes.
Brother and Sister, now that we have known this truth, we can walk out confidently each new day!!! You and I no longer have to live under guilt and condemnation in our thoughts anymore because the blood of Jesus keeps on cleansing us. The light of God will ONLY shine in us brighter and brighter until the very last day that Jesus comes! Let's be honest, when you confess your sins, dun you feel more dirty than ever?Therefore, you do not need to confess your sins all day long, you are cleansed and purify every moment!!!
