Understanding righteousness

Righteousness? What does this word means to you? Ponder over it. Most likely most of us will give this answer- DO RIGHT!!

Let's look at Matthew6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his RIGHTEOUSNESS and all things will be given to you as well.

What does that means? That means be conscious of God righteousness in you. See yourself as perfect. You dont need to keep on doing right to earn God blessings. The verse has been misinterpret for over many years. The verse never never says Seek first his kingdom and do right and all things will be given to you as well. You and I cant earn God blessings with work. If we can, Jesus would not have died for you and I. The righteousness of God in Christ simply means you are cleansed and purify and forgiveness of your sins and you are entitled to God inheritance. Do not try to WORK for your blessings anymore. If you are doing that, you are insulting the work on the cross. Telling and insulting God that he havent done enough to bless you.

Many believers after so many years havent made any breakthrough in their finance and many things is simply because their lack of consciousness of their righteousness of God in Christ. Some wants to work for God blessings but after a long time no breakthrough. Soon, these people got frustrated and angry. Finally, they leave God. What I want to emphasized here is that we are living in a covenant of GRACE. All the blessings in spiritual and material from God for you is by Grace. WORK to earn God blessings is living in law. Look at John1:17 For the law was given through MOSES, grace and truth came through JESUS CHRIST. Well I am living in Christ( grace and truth). What about you? Moses( law) which are outdated a long time ago
